Other plant-based raw materials are individually evaluated for suitability, process, and possible capacity.

Herbs from approx. 50 kg

Tray Drying for Herbs & Sensitive Raw Materials

For suitable herbs, leafy greens, edible flowers, and other sensitive raw materials, we use our tray dryers depending on the product and order size. Quantities from approximately 50 kg can be evaluated based on suitability.

Typical raw materials include wild garlic, parsley, leafy herbs, tea herbs, and edible flowers.

Apples & Root Vegetables in Tons

Belt Drying for Medium to Very Large Quantities

For apples for apple chip production, as well as for suitable root vegetables like carrots, our powerful belt dryer enables economical and continuous processing for commercial and industrial quantities. For example, projects with 10, 30, or 50 tons, as well as large orders of 100 tons or more of carrots, can be evaluated.

100 tons is not a minimum quantity for such suitable belt drying projects. This refers to the delivered fresh produce, not the weight of the finished dried product. The specific feasibility is evaluated on a raw material and project basis.

Other suitable products may include parsnips, beetroot, celery, and other root vegetables by arrangement.

Important: The mentioned quantities apply only to the described, suitable raw materials and processes. They are not universally transferable to other products and do not represent a fixed daily or batch output. For suitable belt drying projects, washing, peeling, and cutting can be combined with subsequent drying; continuous processing in shifts is also possible depending on project planning.
